Why might you need to know about digital art? Well, it sure looks pretty. But besides that, it's where art is headed in the future. With current and future technologies, digital worlds come to life in a way that rivals reality. Ever heard of Toy Story 2? Shrek? Final Fantasy? Those are all digital creations, and there's a huge community of people who enjoy working in that area.
